# How to edit assignments based on feedback and resubmit

The following instructions and associated snapshots will guide you on how to submit your course assignment on the Arabian Child Learning Platform.

## Step 1: Sign in to your account

1. Open your internet browser and navigate to the Arabian Child Learning Platform website.
2. Click the **SIGN IN** button at the top-right corner
3. On the pop-up window, enter your **Username** and **Password**, then click **SIGN IN**.

After signing in successfully, you will be redirected to the Home Page.

### Step 2: Locate and Open your course

You will land on the **Home Page**. Open your course from the Learning Dashboard or all my courses area.

### Step 3: Locate the assignment

From your course materials, find the assignment activity you need to submit, then click the assignment title to open it.

Each assignment includes a link to a Google Doc template.

### Step 4: Make a Copy of the Google Doc

1. Read the assignment requirements carefully
2. Click the Google Doc link provided in the assignment section.

Since this is a shared template, you'll need to create your own editable copy:

1. Open the **File** menu
2. Select **Make a copy**
3. Save the copy to your own Google Drive

You must make a copy before editing. The original template is view-only and cannot be edited directly.

### Step 5: Complete the Assignment

Open your copied document and complete the assignment directly inside it.

### Step 6: Share the Document

Once your work is complete, you'll need to generate a shareable link:

1. Click **Share** in the top-right corner of the document
2. Change the access permission from **Editor** to **Commenter**
3. Copy the generated link

Make sure the permission is set to **Commenter**, not Editor or Viewer. This allows your instructor to leave feedback directly on your submission.

### Step 7: Submit the Link

Return to the platform and go back to the assignment page:

1. Click **Add a Link**
2. Paste your copied Google Doc link into the field
3. Enter a clear, recognizable name for your assignment
4. Click **Submit**

Once submitted, your assignment is complete. You'll be able to see it listed under the assignment section going forward.

### Step 8: Submit your assignment

Click **SUBMIT** or **CONFIRM SUBMISSION**.

### Step 10: Submission confirmation

A confirmation message will appear once your assignment has been submitted successfully.
